Rowing report: Schools Regatta 2

Posted on in Sport

More than 50 students from Years 7-12 travelled to Lake Barrington last weekend to compete in the second School’s rowing regatta.

A few rowers were unavailable due to other commitments but those who were present certainly did the College proud.

It was most pleasing to see that the early morning training sessions and afternoon gym sessions contribute to favourable results across the board.

Special thanks to all our coaches and parents, especially those who help out in so many ways.

We are very proud of these results and are looking forward to the upcoming All Schools Championships and the Head of the River in early March.

Oliver Wilson-Haffenden
Director of Rowing (St Virgil’s College and St Mary’s College)
